Montenegro’s Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism Branimir Gvozdenovic , along with their aides took part in the XI Regional Conference “Tourism market of Southeast Europe – new development opportunities” that is now being held in Belgrade. Regional Conference was attended by 300 participants, representatives of major world and regional associations and organizations, high-level representatives from the European Union institutions, tour operators from Russia, Turkey, China, India, national tourism organizations from SEE countries, educational institutions, companies that have the most significant holders of the tourism sector, finance and influential regional media. During his speech in the plenary session of the Regional Conference Minister Gvozdenovic said that everyone in the region dedicated to the development of the overall tourist offer, and common aspirations and interests should be directed to the synergetic effect generating markets. “Only such an approach will provide better offer, and a unique appearance in the market” fight” with the most developed tourist destinations of the world. With mutual cooperation and communication, combining the best tourist attractions, will scale up attractiveness of the region to the international market and to encourage constructive forms of cooperation in order to further the development of the tourism market, “said Gvozdenovic. He took the opportunity to present familiar with the development goals of Montenegro, as well as current and planned activities in the field of the utmost importance for the economic development of our country. At the conference, ahead of Montenegro, president of the Montenegrin tourist association Zarko Radulovic signed agreement on joint appearance and unique offer to all distant markets (China, Japan, India and South America) with the leaders of tourism associations Croatian, Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia and Albania, and formed part of the Union Association of Tourist Agencies South-Eastern Europe that the six countries of the region. Minister Gvozdenovic had a series of bilateral meetings with the respective counterparts of the participating countries at the conference. Meeting with Goran Petkovic , State Secretary for Tourism in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, was spent in the most relevant exchange of information, with particular attention paid to the potential of linking the tourism industry of the two countries, due to the large number of features that are provided in this context. The conference focus is on potential and competitively sustainable tourism development in the region, which is reflected through the rational use of available natural resources, highlighting the hospitality of the local population, encouraging awareness of the need to preserve indigenous values with optimal evaluation of natural, cultural and historical heritage, environmental protection and system to improve range and quality of the overall tourist offer. At one of the panel discussions at the conference, participated and HG “Budva Riviera” and presented a diverse selection of tourist complex “Slovenska plaza” owners “of the EU Eco label”, which creates an attractive destination management advantages of the region. The conference is held with the support and patronage of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Serbia, Tourist Organization of Serbia, Tourist Organization of Belgrade and YUTA-e, with the participation of ministers from the region, and many other representatives of major world and regional associations and organizations with a view to the presentation of the comparative advantages of countries SEE increase the attractiveness of the region to the international market
